Job Description
HR Generalist
The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing a wide variety of complex and routine operational duties as well as employee support for. Under the direction of the HR Manager, the HR Generalist leads recruitment, employee development projects, but involved in the whole spectrum in HR.
Responsibilities:
- Support HR Manager on day-to-day HR matters, act as a deputy during her absence;
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring process for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings;
- Lead external and internal recruiting efforts as needed to identify best match candidates for a variety of roles within the company;
- Develop and manage employee engagement, retention, and recognition practices and programs;
- Recommend new initiatives, policies and procedures to ensure department is providing best in class service to employees…
- Act as lead for management, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of HR systems, including employee files;
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development;
- Ensure the culture & working environment is open, empowering, fair, and equitable through applying local site policies & procedures;
- Assists with the planning and administration of HR policies and procedures; maintains compliance with regulations;
- May conduct training classes on HR issues and associate orientations.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree
- 2+ years HR experience. (The minimum requirement is familiarity with and experience in recruitment);
- Proficient computer skills;
- Min conversational English, native Hungarian;
- Ability to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization;
- Proactive approach to administrative tasks, with high attention to quality and detail;
- Maintain high standards of output, with attention to detail - in a pressurized environment dealing with sensitive information;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
