Job Title: HR Head - Corporate/Plant
Location: Pune – Pimpri Chinchwad (Corporate / Plant Lead Role)
Reporting to: CEO

Role Overview
The HR Head will be responsible for leading the entire Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Administration, Legal & Labour Compliance, and Training & Development functions for the Pune plant and provide strategic support for group-level HR requirements. The role requires a strong leader experienced in managing large workforce environments combining staff and workmen within a manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Lead HR strategy aligned to business goals, culture development, and organizational growth.
- Drive policies, processes, HR systems, and performance-driven culture across the organization.
Industrial Relations & Labour Management
- Manage IR activities, workmen-related operations, contract labor management, unions (if any), and labour negotiations.
- Ensure proper handling of grievances, disciplinary actions, and compliance under Labour Laws.
- Build a positive IR climate with structured communication and engagement.
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Lead manpower planning, hiring, onboarding, capability building, and succession planning.
- Drive technical training, leadership development, and competency enhancement programs.
- Implement Performance Management Systems and ensure performance discipline.
Legal & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with statutory laws including Factory Act, CLRA, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, Wage Acts, POSH, and other labour regulations.
- Manage labour audits, inspections, and legal documentation.
- Liaison with regulatory authorities and legal advisors.
Administration & Facility Management
- Oversee administration, security, transportation, housekeeping, and infrastructure management.
- Ensure cost-effective vendor and facility management.
Culture, Engagement & Communication
- Implement employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and reward systems.
- Promote values of teamwork, discipline, safety, and productivity.

Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent specialization in HR
- About 15–20 years of HR/IR experience in manufacturing / automotive / engineering industries
- Experience handling large employee strength including workmen & contract labour
- Strong command of labour laws, union handling, and statutory compliance
- Proven ability to lead HR transformation in plant environments

- Are you willing to work 6 day/week in a fast growing 250-300Cr company poised to become 500Cr in couple of Years and about 1000Cr in next 5-6 Years..? (It is 85% export manufacturing company with about 15% manufacturing for Indian Aerospace and Defence industry. It is likely that company may switch to ‘alternate Saturday off’ for executive management initially and will slowly go into 5 day week mode.) -
- Are you willing to work in fast paced work culture with around 400 operating level people (with no union) and 50 executive staff with huge growth plans for another manufacturing unit setup at Nashik and Saudi Arabia? -
- Are you the one who will set up corporate HR policies after deep study of operating and working culture to suit the business needs complying ethical and industrial norms? -
- Will you be able to cope up with dynamic CEO (ex. Swedish MNC) who is growth oriented but highly cost conscious? -
