The Company is a professional innovation partner for the automotive industry in air conditioning of special-purpose vehicles and in automotive electronics.
The company’s portfolio is split in 5: Exhaust Technology, Fuel Operated Heaters, Electrical Heaters, Air Conditioning, Automotive Controls.
It provides products for cars, commercial vehicles, special purpose vehicles, buses and coaches, as well as boats.
With approximately 10,000 employees in 29 countries in around 80 locations the group had in 2019 a revenue of more than 4.9 billion Euro.
Romanian site is the local subsidiary of the German group. It opened in 2016 as a factory for exhaust technology in Oradea, where catalysts and silencers for European car manufacturers are produced. In 2019, the Company had a turnover of approximately 225MEUR and has 800 employees.
The Position
The future Head of Human Resources will be in charge with supporting the fulfilment of business targets by recruiting the right type of candidates, having the right qualification and mind set. In addition, s/he will provide the right personnel development and trainings for the company personnel.
Main Responsibilities
- Being responsible for orderly planning of personnel requirements and personnel cost
- Delivering qualified personnel to fulfil the job requirements
- Managing the local personnel organization (like personnel planning, recruiting, contractual issues, employee laws, organizational changes etc)
- Establishing the HR KPI’s at plant level; defining and implementing corrective actions if needed
- Supporting and cooperating with local and global management in all matters of HR management in a pro- active manner
- Definition and assurance of processes in the HR area according to internal and external legal requirements
- Definition of process standards and implementation of global standards in the HR area and providing an input on the processes, methods and tools to continuously improve cost effectiveness and efficiency of HR
- Leading the HR team, providing them the right qualification, motivation and guidance
- Personnel management/ HR payroll

Reporting line
The future Head of Human Resources will report directly to the General Manager.
The position is based in Oradea.
The Ideal Candidate
Professional Skills
- University degree, ideally with specialization HR Management or similar education (or Qualified training and relevant professional experience in the HR area)
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in larger international companies (automotive preferable)
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in HR field
- Prior experience in dealing with authorities; Romanian labor law and other legal frameworks know how
- Past experience in dealing with workers council or unions
- Fluent in English
