We are looking for an experienced HR Manager or a Senior HR generalist / HR Business Partner to join our client's team which is an Italian Manufacturing Company, fresh start in Romania.
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the Human Resources function in Romania, including but not limited to and primarily focus on recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with local laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR best practices and trends, and experience working in a global, matrixed organization ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, automation company.
Responsibilities:
- Help the Italian HR director in setting up the new local team – so recruitment experience and talent is number one requirment
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and practices that support business objectives
- Manage the recruitment and selection process for all positions, from entry level to executive roles
- Develop and implement employee training and development programs that support the growth and development of our employees
- Ensure that performance management processes are in place and that our employees are being evaluated fairly and consistently
- Manage employee relations issues and develop effective communication strategies to ensure a positive work environment
- Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations related to HR and labor relations
- Partner with other HR leaders within the company to implement global HR initiatives and programs
- Provide guidance and support to managers on all HR related matters
- Act as a liaison between employees and management, ensuring that all employee concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner
- Ensure accurate and timely record keeping of all HR data and reports
- Manage the HR budget and provide regular reporting to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 7-8 years of progressive HR experience, including some HR management experience
- Experience in a production company ideally global, matrixed organization is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Romanian labor laws and regulations
- Experience in talent acquisition and management, learning and development, and employee relations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions
- Fluent in Romanian and English, both written and spoken also Italian at least medium level
