Job Description
With 10.000 employees worldwide, our client is a multinational group that has a strong facility in the middle of Germany active in almost all areas of the metallurgical process chain in plant construction.
HRM's most important must-haves in this role are:
- Good adaptability and professionalism; ideal experience within similar industrial fields
- HR generalist exposure; recruitment part is a must
- German and English languages – conversational, at least; we welcome an East Europe or a Central /South EU expatriate as long as is fits into all these requirements
- German Employment legislation
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business strategy
- Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Assess training needs and monitor training programs
- Report to management and provide support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance
Technical Requirements:
- Proven working experience as HR Manager (minimum 5 years experience)
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Degree in Law or Economics or a related field

- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
