Responsibilities and duties:
- Develop and implement the necessary HR policy for the company as per the statutory requirements
- Responsible from HIRE TILL RETIRE for the staff
- Talent Acquisition: Recruit staff as per the needs of the business and onboard the new employees within a target timeframe.
Talent Development:
- Create skill matrix for existing employees and set up training programs for upskilling of the staff.
- Maintain training budgets
- Talent retention: Come up with ideas to retain talent and implement the same in s time bound manner and within budgets.
- Oversee all necessary paperwork, employee communications, benefits maintenance, leave tracking, management reports, workers compensation claims, and return to work programs are completed.
- Complete initial reporting, investigations, communication work restrictions, claim adjuster correspondence, tracking and claim review analysis for settlements.
- Oversee the performance management of the employees and assist in payroll processing.
- Carrying out necessary administrative duties in co-ordination with Facilities and other sub-contractors.
- Handling workplace personnel policies, investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures.
- Maintaining
- Develop and implement labour policies as per local norms and handle grievance procedures.
- Manage dispute resolutions involving unions, management, employees or government agencies, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable about union contract compliance and Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
- Advise management on contract negotiations and similar management-union relations.
- Prepare documentation regarding labour relations assignments.
Skills & Requirements
- Female candidates are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10 – 15 years of experience in HR and 5 years as Generalist is preferred
- Should have at least 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
- MNC experience is a must
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and should take ownership of the topics.
- Great verbal (Kannada, English and Hindi) and written communications skills; not afraid to speak up when required.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
- Meticulous attention to detail, quality, and follow through; strong interpersonal skills.
- Competency in HR software (Cornerstone), Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook
