To support its growth path, is looking for a:

ICT Engineer (Network & System) / IoT Company - Chiasso (CH)

The candidate working closely with the technical lead, will help our client’s team to identify, develop, improve, and maintain the Company’s ICT infrastructure and services.

Main Responsibilities

• Running regular checks on network, systems, and data security
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update ICT systems
• Developing, implementing and enforcing ICT policy and best practice guides for the organization
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for ICT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
• Act in alignment with Company’s needs and system functionality to contribute to operation efficiency while preserving ICT organizational policy and system integrity
• Design, installation and commissioning of network, security and server systems
• Troubleshooting network and system issues and responding to general ICT requests of support
• Collaborate with Customer Service and DevSecOps teams to identify and support necessary changes to maintain optimal system performances of ICT solutions rendered by the Company both on Customer’s premise and on the company’s private could service
• Generate and maintain appropriate documentation, change management and incident management policies
• Determine cybersecurity requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements

Qualifications and experiences

• University University degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent discipline
• Effective communication in English (both written & verbal - including technical documentation)
• Proven experience (5+ years) in System engineering and network engineering
• Proven experience (5+ years) in configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of server infrastructures (virtual and physical), database systems, HA architectures
• Excellent competencies in Linux server administration, scripting languages, databases administration
• Excellent competencies IP networking (network design, router, firewall, switches configuration)
• Excellent competencies on Microsoft Windows client and server administration
• Knowledge of cybersecurity vulnerabilities and attacks (Hardware, Firmware, Software, Network, and People), and ability to understand new ones based on new technology being developed
• Knowledge of virtualization system and services such as VMWare ESXi (vSphere)

Nice to Have

• Experience in Exploit Development, Social Engineering, Red/Blue Teaming
• Experience on public could services such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
