Job Description
Our Client is a prominent international company in the Mining Industry. For their rapidly growing operations in Athens, they are looking for an 'Industrial Sales Engineer'.
Your responsibilities:
- Determination of customers' needs by customer contact visits to obtain market information.
- Handling technical sales deals and negotiations.
- Professional product presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Contribution to the development and performance of sales & marketing activities and campaigns to expand the customer base and attain sales goals and profitability.
- Assessment of market competition by comparing the company's products to competitors' products.
- Monitoring inventory and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.
- Recommendation of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, and assessing new product ideas and/or product changes.
- Maintenance of professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in industry sector events.
Your profile:
- Experience in B2B sales in an industrial environment for at least 3 years, with demonstrated ability to build rapport, set priorities, and organize tasks.
- Background in Engineering (Preferably a degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering).
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong skills in the English language, both oral and written.
- Willingness and availability for extensive traveling abroad.
