We are seeking positive and motivated candidates who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the insurance industry. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and understand the principles of underwriting within the context of Islamic insurance, including risk assessment, policy evaluation, and pricing guidelines.
• Assist senior underwriters in evaluating insurance applications, assessing risks, and determining appropriate coverage.
• Conduct thorough analysis of policy documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure consistent underwriting decisions.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving underwriting-related issues.
• Gain knowledge and proficiency in evaluating and handling complex claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in underwriting within the context of Islamic finance through continuous learning and professional development.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of underwriting guidelines and procedures.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and contribute to team success.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and risk management, to support business objectives and deliver comprehensive insurance solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably in Insurance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong desire to learn and develop a career in the insurance industry, specifically in underwriting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as contribute effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
