Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another Business degree is required.
- Strong Internal Audit expertise with a specialism in Internal Controls is required.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and contemporary internal audit procedures
- A natural organizational proclivity and aptitude for information technology using GAAP research tools and FASB codification
- A thorough understanding of corporate governance or business risk management
- Demonstrated history of overcoming various difficult operational and accounting issues is required.
- Prior experience should include significant involvement in the review of controls and business processes.
- The ability for team leadership - influencing and galvanizing others to follow you toward a solution.
- Working knowledge of the COSO internal control framework and a solid understanding of control design and operational efficiency.
EXCEL will be tested. English fluent is a must, Good communication and exceptional team-work, multicultural proven.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the designated internal auditor for Eastern European countries:
- Present to regional management the yearly internal audit plan
- Present to regional management the yearly internal audit plan
- Implement SOX and Fraud programs
- Assist with anti-money laundering controls and reporting
- Evaluate control effectiveness
- Assist with anti-money laundering controls and reporting
- Evaluate control effectiveness and create new procedures and controls for emerging and increasing company operations
- Lead initiatives, give accounting assistance and act as a liaison between finance and business partners to handle control and audit concerns.
- Handle uncertainty by being able to reprioritize based on numerous business demands.
- Coordinate the execution of obligations with diverse third-party resources.
- Application of accounting knowledge, techniques, and principles, as well as creativity and uniqueness
- Create new procedures and controls for emerging and increasing company operations
- Conduct internal audits of the region's operational and financial sectors.

- Bring to the notice of management any discrepancies or difficulties with proposals and solutions that are outside of given authorities.
- Lead large-scale finance and accounting initiatives centered on procedures and controls, including the automation of such operations through technologies.
Nice to have, but not mandatory:
- CIMA, ACCA, or ACA Qualified or equivalent
- Financial Auditor qualification or CIA qualification is preferred
- Russian language skills preferred

Travel time split:
