Key Role Requirements
* DIY skills / practical experience is mandatory
* On-site / contracting awareness is beneficial
* Proven lead generation / prospecting experience
* Making daily calls in-line with agreed KPI's
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
* Good numerical skills and commercial awareness
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* Personable, presentable, and articulate
* Positive, proactive, punctual, and enthusiastic
* Interpersonal and team-working skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
Key Responsibilities
* Daily proactive prospecting activity
* Become an expert of the company's product portfolio to be a strategic 'go-to' resource for customers
* Strive to exceed customer expectations
* Ensure that key information / market insights are fed back to the BDM
* Ensure enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently
* Provide sales analysis within your region and report on drop in spends, product lines etc.
* Focus on upselling and customer retention
* Deal with complete order process from taking the initial enquiry through to delivery
* Act as a point of contact for customers: maximising spend through dealing with client queries / calls
* You will need to develop skills to understand underfloor heating systems and controls
* Keeping warehouse aware of large stock moves ahead of them being called off for dispatch
