As the International Business Development Manager for our client, one of the leading suppliers of high-quality cosmetics in the hairdressing industry, you are the driving force behind identifying and capitalizing on commercial opportunities. You will be responsible for further growing our key-account portfolio and discovering new distribution opportunities all over the world. Using your market research, customer research, and competitive analysis, you will seek out opportunities to bring in new distributors and achieve millions in revenue. As part of the International Business Development team, reporting to the Global Export Manager, you will be expected to identify, source, negotiate and, in the first instance, manage these key accounts. Your positive and confident approach will contribute to the success of our company and help grow our brand globally.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Identify new customers and develop strategies to attract and retain them.

• Negotiate with potential customers and suppliers and close contracts to create new business opportunities.

• Be the first point of contact, with high customer satisfaction and loyalty being essential.

• Develop, manage and execute an account plan.

• Advise customers on brand experience, offerings, launches, strategies, and more.

• Report on and monitor commercial agreements made and make necessary adjustments.

What are we looking for ?

• You have at least 5-6 years of experience in a commercial environment;

• You have a proven track record in Key Account Management, with ideally experience in international distributor negotiations and relationship management ;

• Experience in the (hair)cosmetics industry is a plus, but not essential;

• You are a commercial wonder, with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills;

• You have a perfect command of the English language, both written and spoken.
