Purpose of the Role

The International Business Development Manager will drive the company’s growth in the field of lightweight systems, focusing on expanding business in Europe and developing long-term partnerships with key clients. The role combines strategic vision with a hands-on commercial approach, aiming to increase production capacity utilization and open new market opportunities.

Location: Romania
Territory: Europe

Main Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the business development strategy, together with company management.
• Identify and approach new clients and market segments, both directly and through industry events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners and customers.
• Manage the full business development cycle — from prospecting and opportunity qualification to offer and negotiation.
• Collaborate with technical and production teams to ensure feasible and competitive offers.
• Promote the company’s integrated solutions for lightweight components, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Cross-selling opportunities on carbon, aluminium and thermoforming, complementing the company’s core expertise in lightweight component solutions.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in international business development or key account management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with an entrepreneurial and result-driven mindset.
• Strategic thinker, able to identify and develop new markets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Fluent in English (German or French are an advantage).
• Availability for travel within Europe.
• Driving license (Cat. B).
