International Forwarder

Job description
The International Forwarder is responsible for managing the Romanian Forwarding operation:
- Acquires new orders for the own fleet and their further processing in the Lovos system;
- Acquires new subcontractors and cooperation with them in the service of orders;
- Enters in our logistics management system all possible data regarding details of loading, such us: address and date of loading (or the time period in the case of unspecified dates and times), load type (including theft sensitive mark, ADR classes); weight, number of pallets, rate; important comments describing the load, etc.
- Monitors the location of the cars and updates their routes;
- Identifies, reports compliance during of the logistics process;
- Reports compliance to a Quality Specialist;
- Updates in the system date of routes, addresses, downtime, additional costs, cancellation orders;
- Daily checks all orders received from assigned customers (loading, unloading, transport progress);
- Keeps record of orders, prepares reports on clients/superior’s request;
- Notifies and charges customers to cover additional transportation cost incurred (enters into the system load value);
- Maintains constant and effective communication with customers, regarding the company’s interest;
- Performs entrusted tasks in accordance with the relevant procedures and rules
QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE:
FORMAL REQUIREMENTS:
- EDUCATION: Secondary education;
- EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years in a similar position;
- LANGUAGES: Good command in English (writing/speaking/understanding B2 level)
- COMPUTER SKILLS: Intermediate MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
- KNOWLEDGE OF: Forwarding’s business specifics, Knowledge of freight exchanges and forwarding programs, transport and forwarding documents and law.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (in all levels of business);
- Strong negotiating skills – Able to negotiate assertively when required;
- Knowledge of international legal terms, conditions and implications;
