IT Manager – Manufacturing

Report to: General Manager

Purpose of the role

It ensures the optimal, safe and continuous operation of IT infrastructure, ERP systems, networks and industrial applications used in production processes. It coordinates IT activities, provides advanced technical support and contributes to the digitization and streamlining of internal flows.

Main objectives

• Ensuring the continuous functionality of IT systems.
• Reduction of downtime in production.
• Implementing a stable, secure and efficient IT infrastructure.
• Supporting the digitization and automation of processes in the company.

Main responsibilities

A. ERP and database administration

• Administration and maintenance of SAP Business One.
• SQL Server SAP database management: backups, restore, performance monitoring.
• Support for users on ERP flows and integrations.
• Administration of Produmex PDC – SAP add-on for entering production data.

B. Server and Infrastructure Management

• Administration of server operating systems: Microsoft Windows Server and Unix.
• Configuration and maintenance of AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO services.
• Ensuring security and stability updates.
• Monitor server performance and manage critical incidents.

C. IT and network security

• Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring the Fortinet firewall.
• LAN Network Management (DIGI) – segmentation, VLANs, switches, IP management.
• Implementing security policies and preventing cyber incidents.
• Monitoring traffic, logs and anomaly detection.

D. Industrial Application and Software Management

• Support for industrial software connected to equipment:
• Schneider Electric Vijeo Citect – autoclave process management.
• Runtime Management – report generation and PC-PLC connection.
• Dream Report Studio – reports and analysis databases.
• Management and support for Zund Cut Center (manufacturing).
• Internal application management: SpaceClaim, Teamcenter, HyperMill, SolidWorks, NestFab Fusion.
• Remote support via Anydesk and management of Testo Saveris / Observator / Setup Etuve systems.

E. Office 365 and user administration

• Manage Office 365 licenses and accounts.
• Security policy management (MFA, access, groups).
• User support and troubleshooting.

F. Management and coordination

• Planning and prioritizing IT activities.
• Diagnosing and solving incidents in infrastructure and production.
• Collaboration with all departments, especially production and management.
• Coordinate external vendors and track SLA compliance.
• Identifying opportunities for IT optimization and automation.

Job Requirements

Education and experience

• Higher education in the field of IT or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Experience in industrial environments is a major advantage.

Technical skills

• Solid knowledge of ERP (ideally SAP Business One).
• Windows Server, Unix administration.
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls.
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience in managing LANs.
• Familiarization with industrial software connected to equipment.
• Knowledge of Office 365 (licensing and security administration).
