Planning Systems IT Lead

For a fashion industry located in Modena we are looking for an IT Planning System Lead who will manage technical and functional aspects of Planning-Technology applications (Board, IBP) partnering with IT cross-functional teams and Business leads.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop Planning Technology applications on Board (as-is platform) and IBP (to-be platform).

• Support overall application maintenance and stability following standard IT and security protocols and procedures.

• Facilitate daily technology operations including issue analysis and resolution avoiding downtime and delays.

• Work collaboratively with various IT partners to ensure seamless integration of product data across the matrix of application.

• Support and execute testing efforts ensuring applications are production ready and support business requirements.

• Execute and support the software build process and Production Release. Create deployment plans with the detailed technical activities for the target Production Releases.

• Partner with business leads and IT partners to recommend and deliver innovative solutions

Skills

• Relevant experience with In-depth technical and functional on Board, SAP IBP or other planning application knowledge required (SAP SCM, SAP APO..)

• Relevant experience with system configuration, customization and interfaces between core systems required

• Preferred experience connecting planning systems with ERP, BI and Merchandising systems.

• Experience in applications using Oracle / SQL Server Databases.

• Previous operational and project support experience.

• Meticulous record keeping and documentation of current configurations and application history.

• Experience in working with Projects execution in Agile methodologies is preferred
