Our client is looking for an IT Project Manager for 1 year contract period which can be extended depending on the business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- The Project Manager is responsible to manage and successful implementation of ICT solutions (IT infrastrucutre, Security, Software, hardware) solutions across diverse projects.
- Communicate the overall program status, progress and issues to steering committee and leadership.
- Engage with appropriate business champions to obtain requirements; should be able to effectively plan, execute and communicate the project progress to the stakeholders.
- Build relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible to handle tickets and provide support to the users in matters related to technology. Should be able to analyse and solve the problem.
- Oversee internal change management initiative and mange change resistance.
- Maintain a knowledge base for departments throughout the company and create documentation as well as promote best practices.
- Provide end-to-end project leadership and/or participate as a functional/technical team member for projects.
- Adhere to Project Management practices and change control process.
- Provide leadership and assistance for delivery teams and staff.
Desired Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or relevant qualification with end to end project management, strategy, managing the stakeholders experince.
• 8-10+ years of experience in managing technology projects for diverse clients in UAE.
• The candidate should have relevant project management certifications such as PMP, Prince II etc.
• Proficient in English & Arabic.
• Strong dynamic personality with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent change management skills and a team player.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations
• Excellent risk management skills
