Our IT service desk is the face of our corporate IT department towards the organisation. Our service desk operations are delivered through a consistent set of tools and processes providing efficient and cost effective IT Services to our customers.
As a member of the IT service desk your mission will be to support our internal, international customers (around 550 users) in their day to day work to improve their productivity and effectiveness.
One of your main tasks will be to register and analyse incidents in order to get them classified and assigned to the right person within the corporate IT department. By continuous monitoring you make sure that incidents are being solved within the service level agreed with our customers.As a skilled IT service desk employee you provide first and second line support on infrastructure (175 virtual windows servers and 550 desktops, laptops and thin clients)
You will be a member of a 8 person global IT support team geographically located across 25 worldwide locations. You will be located in Romania primarily fulfilling a global and local IT support role with the opportunity to gain on the job systems administration experience. You will be expected to work according to and contribute to global IT standards and processes. Regular communication with the global IT team is an essential component of this role in order to be aware of global IT events and standards and also to communicate local issues and requirements to the global IT team.

What do we expect from you:
- Handles a number of 3 communication channels, to receive our customers’ issues/requests (e-mail, telephony, and self-registered).
- Create a positive customer support experience and build strong relationships through deep problem understanding, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, communicating promptly on progress, and handling customers with a consummately professional attitude;
- 1st and sometimes 2nd line support - troubleshooting of IT related problems from in-house software to hardware;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
- Willing to travel for short periods of time on occasion;
- University studies, preferable in IT domain;
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in IT networking role, preferably in a large Enterprise environment;
- Analytical skills (ability to analyze and synthesize), manages time and workload effectively;
- Quick learner, team player with self-motivation to work in a remote support perspective;
- Flexible attitude towards working hours
- Strong analytical capabilities and good problem solving
