Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Performance Analysis: Evaluate and analyze vendor performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Data Evaluation: Assess data related to procurement and supplier relationships, utilizing analytical tools to derive meaningful insights.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential vendors, assess market trends,and stay informed about industry best practices.
Contract Negotiation: Participate in contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company while maintaining positive vendor relationships.
Cost-saving Initiatives: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the vendor management framework.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize vendor relationships, address issues, and enhance overall efficiency.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Vendor Capability Assessment: Assess vendor capabilities to ensure alignment with organizational needs and standards.
Strategic Insights: Provide strategic insights based on data analysis to support decision-making in procurement and vendor management.
