As a Junior/Mid Infrastructure Monitoring and Tools Specialist, you will be an essential part of the team responsible for implementing, administering, and optimizing our infrastructure monitoring tools. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and administering infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Collaborate on troubleshooting and resolving issues in infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Contribute to the development of customizations and integrations for monitoring and event management tools.
• Support enhancements and help maintain tools' uptime and features.
• Assist in configuring solutions in high-availability and disaster recovery scenarios, following organizational deployment policies/constraints.
• Support the development of monitoring scripts.
• Participate in configuring server/storage/network monitoring using IT infra monitoring tools.

Requirements:
• 1+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations and Monitoring.
• Exposure to integration of ITMS and ITOM toolset.
• Basic understanding of IT operations, Business Service Management, and foundational knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
• Provide general support in conveying knowledge of physical and logical designs to internal teams.
• Developing technical, written, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge in ITSM and ITIL processes.

Additional Skills, nice to haves:
Primary Skills:
• Basic experience as a Monitoring Tools Specialist or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds, Grafana, Prometheus, and Instana.
• Developing an understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration.
• Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.

Secondary Skills:
• Developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• This role emphasizes learning and growing expertise in monitoring and event management tools, aligning with ITIL practices and contributing to the continual improvement of monitoring and event management processes.
