Leveraging their domain expertise, regulatory knowledge and technology experience, they architect innovative products and disrupt the Insurance value chain from Customer Acquisition to Engagement. Their products serve customers across the APAC region.

Role details:

• Title / Designation: Java Developer
• Location: Pune
• Work Mode: In-office

Role & responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose architecture improvements.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Implement microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Manage containerized services with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.
• Utilize cloud services (preferably Azure) for scalable deployments.
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and manage indexing strategies on MS SQL Server.
• Leverage tools like Maven/Gradle for builds and Git for version control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, BA) to ensure timely, quality releases.
• Prepare documentation, technical flow diagrams, and participate in release management.
• Ensure adherence to Agile best practices using JIRA and Confluence.

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• Proficient in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, JPA, Hibernate.
• Strong database expertise with MS SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Cloud Sleuth, Config Server, Eureka, API Gateway, and container registries.
