Job Description
Checklist to Filter CVs:
- Hands on development experience on SQL and NoSQL databases, Express, Node and React JS in last 3-4 years.
- Must have hands on development experience in last 2 years on NodeJS with SQL Databases.
- The profile should clearly reflect the kind of work a candidate has in the mentioned projects. For eg. Backend development, API development, database management, FE development etc. A developer profile should clearly say which modules did he/she develop – FE, backend, API etc. Developers should spend more time on development, code review, unit testing, debugging etc. Similarly, a TL profile should clearly reflect the responsibilities he took care of in the project.
- TL or Dev profiles should not be more of requirement gathering, client communication, task allocation, project tracking roles.
- Full stack developer should have experience of front-end development but should not be only Front End experience. This can be determined by the tech stack mentioned across projects in the resume. Common FE stacks are React, Angular, HTML, CSS etc.
- Variety of problem statements candidate has worked upon. What we mean here is if a candidate has been working only on providing support / maintenance for certain project for past few years, it should be rejected. The candidates with an experience across multiple domains and different kind of projects (for eg. Payments, fintech, AdTech, integrations, CRM etc) are always a better choice for us.
- Experience of AWS platform services, serverless applications, microservices etc are an added advantage.
- Should not have more than 8-9 years of experience (people get complacent and don’t want to learn)
- Candidates from Product or SaaS startups should be given priority over service organisations. Also, in case of service based organisations, the projects for product orgs should be prioritised.
- Candidates who have switched too many organisations are not preferred.
