Job Description
Our cllient is one of the most important European manufacturers of implants and components for the dental industry and the leader in immediate loading dental restoration treatments in Romania, is looking for a new team member for the position of B2B events coordinator.
Annually, the company organizes a series of its own events (courses, congresses, workshops) or in partnership with industry leaders to maintain and enhance the brand's image among the target audience.
The events coordinator helps the company to build and maintain a professional and positive image in front of the target audience and contributes to all phases of event planning so that the final objective is achieved.
Another important part of this role is the responsibility of collecting relevant information about participants to be used in the follow-up activities of the sales and marketing departments.
Main responsibilities:
- Gather information about planned company events and related responsibilities
- Identify appropriate spaces for events, propose location, detail service packages, schedule and event logistics
- Coordinate catering and banqueting activities and prepare event-specific materials
- Identify technical needs for events, propose and manage auxiliary solutions as necessary
- Design the event budget and present the pricing offer to the direct manager
- Keep track of available event materials and update databases following each event
- Assist in event setup and initiate all technical tests before the event starts
- Register participants and monitor partner deadlines and vendor invoices
- Update databases following each event and ensure the team receives collected contacts
- Arrange travel for team members.
The few most important must haves of the best matching Candidate in this role are:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in event planning in a corporate environment (B2B event organization experience is a plus)
- Multitasking ability and simultaneous involvement in various types of events
- Experience in working with graphics, sales, marketing & communication departments
- Database administration experience
- Experience in preparing specific materials for events
- Above-average organizational, communication and negotiation skills
- Event budget administration experience
- Calm and professional attitude, customer-oriented, in any situation
- Advanced English language skills
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Extremely organized person and open to quickly learning certain procedures/protocols
- Professional attire and attitude in both relationships with colleagues and partners/suppliers
- Solution-oriented mindset
- Good communicator
- B driver's license (is a plus)
