Our client is a Venture Capital and Private Equity company located in Frankfurt , Germany. We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join the company. The ideal candidate should have German working permit and Chinese , English and German fluent speaker.

Main Tasks:

• Assisting in negotiating and drafting commercial and vendor agreements
• Establishing and maintaining contracting processes and templates
• Providing administrative support for legal documentation
• Participating in developing company policies on legal issues

• Assist with corporate initiatives like litigation, employment matters, trademarks
• Participate in developing company policies on legal issues
• Assist in compliance projects, particularly with data privacy regulations
• Conduct legal research and provide updates on applicable laws and regulations
• Support legal counsel in liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements and skills

• BSc in Cooperation Law or International Law in Germany
• 3 years’ minimum international experience in legal/commercial terms relevant to energy industry or health industry
• Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations in Europe
• Proactive, collaborative work style
• Excellent written and spoken Chinese, English and German.
• Ability to provide sound practical commercial advice, underpinned by the law but avoiding complex legal risk.
• Experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Great interpersonal skills, including clear oral and written communication.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to think ahead and anticipate needs before they arise.
