Our client provides special flooring solutions to (mainly) industrial or commercia buildings. 

The role of the project engineer combines technical responsibilities with project management. The job holder will responsible for planning, marking out and levelling construction sites before any work takes place, but  also for liaising with third party stakeholders to keep them updated on the progress of the construction project, managing the site facilities, and supervising construction workers on a daily basis.

Main duties:

1. Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards 
2. Evaluate operations and processes
3. Monitor project progress, compliance with design specifications and safety standards
4. Direct engineering activities; assign tasks, provide training and support
5. Create work schedules and adjust as needed to meet project deadlines
6. Collaborate with management to align activities with desired business outcomes

Requirements and Qualifications

1. Degree in civil or structural engineering, construction, building, or related field
2. Considerable experience in a similar position
3. Proven track record for managing personnel and material resources
4. Exemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills 
5. Ability to use the scientific process to solve problems
6. Fluent Hungarian and English
