They offer in many industries technical solutions from the formulated chemical systems of our premium partners: adhesives, resins, additives, tapes, composites, etc… .
II. Job General scope:
Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager-(KAM)-Plastics-Polymers-Coating SPECIALTY CHEMICALS - BENELUX.
Expert in Plastics/Polymer additives, Coating formulation, you have direct impact to drive your personal success.
Besides an existing customer base, you have the opportunity to manage and develop your own market, product range and accounts for dedicated market.
You are responsible for your own projects from the first contact with the prospect until the final implementation phase and thereafter.
This position reports to the Sales director.
III. Main achievements/Missions/Objectives:
- Key Account Management-Develop and Sales for Plastics and Polymers Additives and coating/formulation additives markets.
- Full responsibility to drive revenue by prospecting and building a pipeline through technical visits and project meetings
- Develop and execute projects for your accounts and prospects and close new business consistently
- Build and create strategies for account development and with suppliers
- Develop strong relationships with the customer leading to a deep understanding of their needs and long-term business strategies.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from introduction to ongoing account expansion.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the technology and the industry.

IV. Qualification requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, Business, Chemicals
- 3-5 years of previous experience in a technical/solution selling environment is required.
- Experience, industry and product knowledge in the Plastics/Polymer/Coating formulation additives.
- Work independently – and entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong Sales and Business development skills and Excellent negotiation capabilities
- Communicative and commercial and able to independently develop your market and customer base.
- Flexible and eager to learn and maintain knowledge to properly serve your accounts.
- Open mind, a sense of teamwork and you think positively.
- Fluent in and have a good knowledge of Dutch, English and French or German.
- Availability to travel locally.
