Must be Presentable, and have Strong Communication Skills. Will need to interact with Customer purchase, quality & engineering functions.
- Role involves:
- Maximizing face time with clients to generate new RFQs and convert them into business opportunities
- Lead generation by referrals to explore new clients & opportunities
- Understanding Costing, Preparing quotations & Negotiating towards commercial closure & business win
- Internally being a project manager for new RFQs – coordinator between Client Organization, Central & Plant Functions
- Escalation resolution for any concerns that client may have post business nomination
- Product profitability improvement opportunities, pricing escalations, pricing actualizations as well as any customer commercial claims and present status with actions to Management monthly.
- Ownership of Business Plan & tracking its execution by plants, highlighting challenges & driving issue resolution. Monitoring Dual Sourced Parts SOB% Adherence and Improving SOB further & reviewing High Revenue Projects leading up to SOP
- To review weekly all tool & part payment status, any pending tool amortization recovery & present status with actions to Management monthly.
- Should have dealt with clients who are Global Tier-1s or OEMs and hence should understand standards of Professionalism acceptable at Global level (which are quite different from what is acceptable in India)
- Must be a Problem Solver. Should be able to manage customer escalations through team coordination, resolving internal conflict, taking decisions and & getting back to client with solutions. Must be Voice of Customer inside the organization
KAM Pune Deliverables:
- New Orders / Business Acquisition
- Hitting Margin (EBITDA) Improvement Targets
- Revenue numbers for current year
- Receivables Tracking & Controlling
