- Responsible for overall Sales growth of Industrial Paints sales at a PAN India level.
- Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue based on budgets/ targets.
- Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
- Day to day management of activity of sales team in alignment to short term targets.
- Maintaining product gross margins at the budgeted levels
- Managing Inventory levels against firm sales forecasts.
- Responsible for meeting Business Division’s budgeted DSO, DSI, Working Capital targets, working in close coordination with the Business Manager and Sales teams.
- Empower sales personnel in establishing and closing sales.
- Develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
- Holds regular meetings with sales staff.
- Consistently gets and uses market intelligence to fine tune strategies to drive growth and check competition activities.
- Maintaining relationship with Key Accounts.
- Making growth plan to increase customer base along with introduction of new products in existing customers.
- Co-ordination with sales team about expectation of suppliers. Visit plan with clear agenda with sales team / Suppliers & maintain visit reports / Development reports.
Academic Qualifications, Experiences, Values & Competencies
- Academic: Chemical Engineer or B. Tech Paint Technology.
- Strong and proven track record in sales, business development in relevant industry.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Managerial experience with team handling expertise for minimum 2 years.
- Strong people networking skills and established contacts within the paint industry.
- Integrity - Display professionalism and integrity when carrying out his / her responsibilities.Does the right thing when nobody’s looking. Honest in all internal and external customer relations. Exhibits ethical and moral behavior in everyday business conduct. Is as straightforward as possible in all situations. Treating others with respect.
