The role secures stable volumes, supports pricing and tenders, and identifies new business opportunities in the local market.
Main responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients in Romania, including regular visits and structured follow up.
- Track client performance, volumes, service quality, and specific needs.
- Handle commercial issues together with clients and internal teams.
- Prepare and present client performance reports to management.
- Support pricing, contract discussions, and terms of cooperation.
- Identify new business opportunities in intermodal transport and contribute to business development.
- Monitor competitors and market trends in the Romanian transport sector.
- Submit visit reports and follow up on tasks agreed during client and internal meetings.
- Support major tenders to and from Romania and align each step with the headquarters team.
- Contribute to analyses that help develop and adapt services for the Romanian market.
Requirements
- Experience in logistics or intermodal transport in a client facing role.
- Proven experience managing key accounts and handling negotiations.
- Good understanding of pricing, tenders, and transport market dynamics.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Experience working with international teams is an advantage.
- Good English skills, spoken and written.
- Availability for regular client visits in Romania.
Preferred profile
- Direct experience in intermodal transport with client management responsibility.
- Knowledge of the Romanian logistics and transport market.
- Additional foreign languages are a plus.
