Key Account Manager (food)
Our client is a growing international player of food fmcg arena (fish and seafood products). Their friendly and growing team in Budapest is looking for a Key Account Manager to significantly grow listed local portfolio and to build new accounts.
Main tasks:
- Work directly with the management team to set and implement the retail sales strategy, allowing the company to maintain and improve its brand and reputation within the retail landscape;
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients;
- Negotiate pricing and promotional activities;
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits;
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs;
- Identify and grow opportunities within assigned accounts;
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and industry developments to adjust strategies accordingly;
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on key account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree;
- 3+ years of experience in fmcg commercial roles, some in a KAM role;
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities;
- Experience in developing business cases and sales forecasting;
- Strong negotiation, influencing skills, customer focused approach;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Proactive and self-motivated, result driven approach;
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment;
- Industry knowledge and understanding of market dynamics;
- Good English is a must.
