Position: Segment Lead – Protein Processor (Middle East)
Location: Dubai, UAE (Hybrid)
Salary - TBD + Family Benefits +Other benefits + Bonus + Commissions
Travel: Up to 50% across GCC
Reports to: General Manager – Middle East
Role Purpose
Lead and execute the Middle East Protein Processor segment strategy, driving profitable and purpose-led growth with regional and multinational protein processors. The role focuses on strategic partnerships, customer-centric innovation, and translating global protein platforms into locally relevant solutions, with health, nutrition, and sustainability at the core.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the Middle East Protein Processor segment strategy aligned with global direction.
- Identify and prioritize strategic protein processor customers across the GCC.
- Lead commercial planning (revenue, volume, margin) in line with AOP and long-range plans.
- Drive innovation by partnering with Marketing, R&D, and Culinary teams to commercialize protein solutions.
- Manage senior-level key account relationships and joint business plans.
- Own the customer project pipeline, performance scorecards, and CRM metrics.
- Ensure disciplined pricing, margin management, and profitable growth.
- Champion Health & Nutrition, Sustainability, and Alternative Protein initiatives.
Scope
- Geography: GCC (primary focus: KSA, UAE, Kuwait)
- Budget: Segment AOP responsibility (>$X million turnover)
- Team: Individual contributor role
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field.
- 10–15 years’ experience in B2B food ingredients, protein processing, or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of protein applications and processing technologies preferred.
- Proven experience managing strategic industrial customers and driving profitable growth.
- Solid financial acumen, including pricing and margin management.
- Experience working across multi-country and matrixed environments.
