Job Responsibilities
- Actively grow the profitability across the Wines portfolio including achievement of targeted volume, net sales and gross profit of key customers, direct customers, distributors in Korea through shared plans, that recognises the importance of maintaining ongoing business relationships and encourages long term business growth and sustainable business relationships.
- Work with all key customers, direct customers, distributors in Korea to implement market strategies & business plans to deliver regional goals.
- Negotiate and drive business agreements/trading terms with key accounts aimed at achieving yearly budget and build brand equity. Ensure all proposals/business agreements/trading terms are signed off internally before presenting to the customer.
- Conduct monthly reviews to track agreed performance objectives with distributors and for key customers; identifying where corrective action should take place.
- Understand the customers overall strategy in the market and for the beverage category, and proactively sharing this knowledge and information.
- Manage and drive customers and distributors partnerships to deliver Win, Win, Win outcomes.
- Monitor and manage trading term compliance
- Achieve monthly & yearly shipment budget-Volume, net sales & profitability.
- Focus & implement market strategies & business plans to deliver regional goals.
- Able to negotiate and drive the best business agreement/trading term.
- Full penetration of distribution in ALL channels in Korea.
- Create and execute comprehensive customer plans with targeted / potential key accounts and distributors.
- Ensure customers & distributors monthly depletion and inventory holding are in a healthy position.
- Ensure accuracy on shipment forecast.
- Cross functional team working – work as part of a team to achieve shared team and company goals
- Creative problem solver - demonstrates an openness to new ideas and others perspective or views specifically from broader business and peers
- IT and digital skills – competent in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards (desirable) plus appreciation of digital marketing opportunities and the potential of e-commerce
- Autonomy and the flexibility to execute on strategy as well as deliver excellent hands-on work
- Proactivity, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for wine!
