Key Skill Ask
- L2 support services team is the second in line to address IMS incidents and service requests.
- They provide in-depth technical support and solve issues which cannot be solved by L1
- Supporting projects of IMS Core entities (Knowledge of P/I/S-CSCF, HSS, SLF, TAS (ATS) BGCF, MGCF, MRFC, MRFP, AGW, IBCF) and VoLTE.
- Responsible for technical communication & clarify with the operator, provide relevant solution with support team towards customer requirement.
Years of Relevant Experience
- 8+ years of IMS support experience
Must Have Skills
- Extensive experience with SIP Call processing and SIP Supplementary Services
- In-depth understanding of Telecom Protocols and technologies like SIP, SDP, H.248, MGCP, DIAMETER etc.
- Great Conceptual understanding of IMS evolution and trends - IMS Subsystems, functionalities and IMS SIP Services call flows.
- Working experience on IMS interworking entities (P/I/S-CSCF, HSS, SLF, TAS(ATS) BGCF, MGCF, MRFC, MRFP, AGW, IBCF) and interfaces.
- Knowledge on Session Border Controller, NAT, Firewall, Authentication Encryption, L2 Layer switches (Routers/Switches).
- Experience in Fixed voice solutions including PE IMS, Comsys Voicemail and Community WiFi
Technical Skills
- Experience in Huawei IMS Core Elements like ATS, I/S-CSCF, SBC, BGCF & MRFP along with diameter routing agent (DRA) - SPSV3, subscriber provisioning gateway (SPG) - SPG2800, converged charging function (CCF)- iCG9815; and equipment management system (EMS) - U2000.
- O&M and Configuration Management of IMS Core network including SBC, TAS, CFX etc.
- End-to-end knowledge and co-ordination of IMS Network, SBC such as handling of call related issue of IMS at SBC level and co-ordination with Hub location for analysis at TAS/CFX.
- Experience with Interfaces and Protocols such as SIP, DIAMETER, DNS, ISUP, MAP, INAP, CAMEL, etc.
- Experience in Fixed voice solutions including PE IMS, Comsys Voicemail and Community WiFi
Education Qualification Preference
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech ) in ECE, with related telecom NOC experience
Specific Domain Knowledge required
