This position requires a HR professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of HR best practices
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives and manufacturing division goals. Collaborate with senior management to anticipate HR needs, analyze workforce trends, and plan for talent acquisition, retention, and development.
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Lead the recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source candidates, conduct interviews, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
- Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management systems that include setting clear objectives, conducting regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and identifying opportunities for employee growth and development.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts, and addressing employee grievances. Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
Training and Development: Create and execute training programs that enhance the skills and competencies of manufacturing employees. Encourage a culture of continuous
- learning and professional development.
- Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the Management and finance teams to design and administer competitive and equitable compensation and benefits packages.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all manufacturing employees.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to boost employee morale, motivation, and engagement within the manufacturing division.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze HR metrics related to workforce planning, turnover, employee satisfaction, and other key HR indicators. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
HR Compliance: Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations related to the manufacturing industry, ensuring the organization's HR practices are in full compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience of at least 8-10 years in HR leadership roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Thorough knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations relevant to the manufacturing sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems.
