Role & responsibilities:

• Network with and be updated on OEM and other software and solutions partners, in the domain, with heat maps and matrices for solutions use cases for the various business units in the ONG client organisations, covering core systems, enterprise technologies, digital transformation (with cloud, analytics & big data, IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and others), legacy modernization, portfolio rationalization and applications integration
• Work with sales & presales teams to support sales pursuits with clients and prospects, including defending bids, when required
• Leverage hands on domain and technology experience, to consult with ONG vertical clients, on their business technology roadmap, across applications and the information value chain
• As requires, advise on end-to-end project execution through solution conceptualization, design, implementation for enhanced customer delight
• As required, advise internal teams on projects execution, transformation and delivery

Candidate requirements:

• 10-13 years of experience in ONG industry, with at least the recent 6 years in related technology solutions
• Must have experience in ONG Upstream and Downstream; Midstream experience will be an added advantage
• Knowledge and / or experience in MES applications portfolio, across Process Engineering, Projects, Operations, Maintenance & Reliability Projects, in ONG vertical
• Experience across the information value chain (data acquisition, process control ERP integration, production planning and accounting, etc.)
• Experience in Digital Transformation of legacy portfolio, curation through modernization and rationalization of applications
• Experience in one or more platforms – like Aspentech, Aveva-OSI PI / MOR, GE APM / Smart Signal, Honeywell, LIMS (like Thermo Fisher Scientific, STARLIMS, LabVantage, etc.), Sigmafine, SAP MII, Hexagon – J5 / PSI, Historian and others – desirable
• Experience in cloud, Mobility, IOT and Big Data on Azure, AWS platforms, including in systems and data integration use cases – in an ONG context
• Must have experience in projects Execution and Transformation, Delivery
• Academic background in Chemical / Petrochemical engineering – highly preferable
• Good organizational and communication skills and team management
• Willingness to travel on business for up to 10% of the time
