The SW Leader is responsible for coordinating Engineering activities related to MCU Bootloader Software Design and Development. She/he leads Bootloader for SW product or platform, for RFQ or Awarded products. In detail, needs to establish an ecosystem to develop SW Requirements, Detailed Design and SW development of Bootloader for the project as per customer and internal requirements.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level:
Master's degree in Computer Science/ Electronics / Software engineering
Proficient in English
Good to have Cybersecurity certification.
Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience with min 5 years’ experience in automotive area in Tiers 1 in SW Engineering department
- Successful launch of several products in mass production
Main Activities/Responsibilities:
- Lead Bootloader SW development team to support multiple projects
- Responsible for the execution of the SPICE SWE.1, SWE.3, SWE.4, ACQ.4 for a given SW product, Support for MAN.3, SUP.1.
Competencies:
Must have:
- Handled complete Software Development of Bootloader in different MCU
- Core experience of Embedded C and RTOS/FREE RTOS OS background.
- Development Experience on different MicroController(8/16/32 Bit) NXP, Renesas, ATMEL, Infineon, ARM architecture.
- Should have good exposure to work on different Compiler, debugger ( Trace32, Seggar, J-Link, LPC-Link, Green Hills, GCC, IAR etc)
- Knowledge and experience protocols such as CAN,UART,I2C, SPI, USB, I2S, LWIP.
- Experience in handling watchdog, Sleep modes handling of MCU
- Automotive Embedded Software Development experience
- Expertise in Executing Projects as per V Cycle and Agile SDLC.
- Able to implement Unit Test Cases With the help of Google Test Framework
- Able to do Static Code Analysis
- Expertise in OS Task Management, CPU Load management
- Memory optimization /Memory Size checking /Memory Report Generation
- Understanding of System Requirements.
- Able to handle specifications for software requirements, hardware interfaces, module design
- Study of HSIS document, Schematic reading
- Experience in C Make/Cmake.
- Experience in working with Git and Gerrit, EWM( IBM RTC), DNG, GITLab
- Good to have Autosar application development knowledge
- Project and Risk Management
- SPICE focus on all SWE & SYS processes
- Engineering offshoring experience, ability to work with international distributed teams
- High capacity of synthesis for technical issues
- Problem solving attitude
- Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) knowledge
- Advanced written and spoken English
- French, Japanese and German Optional
