• Provide hands-on support for supplier management through regular visits to assess supplier capacity and capability status, as well as to identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Lead new supplier prospecting initiatives by identifying, evaluating, quoting, and onboarding new sources.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new vendor relationships, ensuring accurate assessments, audits, documentation, and contracts are established.
• Lead, monitor, manage, and report project progress to ensure that vendor deliverables are received on-time and in line with project objectives.
• Conduct negotiatations as needed and provide comprehensive cost and quotation analysis when required.
• Provide support for vendor management activities post product launch, identifying potential supply chain disruptions and ensuring timely execution of vendor corrective actions.

Must have key skills:
• Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience working in Sourcing or Supplier Management is required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of proven success in team leadership, achieving results, effective performance management and coaching/mentoring.
• Prior manufacturing experience (e.g., final assembly, electronics, casting, forging, stamping, machining, plastic injection molding, elastomers, finishing) is desired
