Job Description
Our Client is a major construction group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all legal activities within the company
- Provide legal consulting, assistance, and representation for the company
- Draft legal requests and documents relevant to the company’s operations
- Prepare legal opinions on matters concerning the company’s activities
- Draft/review contracts and support the negotiation of contract terms
- Verify the legality of documents submitted for review
- Approve contracts, agreements, and other documents issued by the company
- Provide legal support for public procurement procedures, including:
- Assisting internal teams
- Reviewing contracts
- Drafting clarification requests/responses
- Filing complaints or other legal documents
- Overseeing public procurement contract execution
- Draft litigation documents, such as:
- Statements of claim
- Responses
- Appeals (ordinary and extraordinary) and their justifications
- Interrogatories and replies
- Legal briefs and written notes
- Provide assistance on labor law matters
- Represent the company before authorities, courts, arbitration bodies, institutions, or individuals
- Support external lawyers on outsourced legal matters
- Monitor legislative updates and case law that may affect company operations
- Attend Board of Directors meetings and provide legal support for drafting related documents
Public Procurement Responsibilities:
- Analyze tender documentation and suggest clarifications or views on contract clauses
- Draft and review public procurement contracts (including subcontracts) and legal agreements with other legal entities
- Prepare responses to clarification requests from contracting authorities
- File complaints and grievances in line with public procurement legislation
- Track legislative changes in public procurement
- Prepare claims and disagreement notes in dealings with public contract beneficiaries
Requirements:
- Education: Law degree
- Experience: Minimum 8 years
- Computer skills: MS Office Suite, Email, Internet, remote communication tools
- Language: Advanced English (written and spoken)
