As one of the leading retailers in the region with outlets spread across 1000s of kilometers, the company is looking for a highly experienced but also energetic and open to new ideas expert in the Logistics field to address the growing challenges the company is facing in the current logistics set up. Reporting directly to the regional CEO and in close cooperation with Head of Sales and Commercial Director you will be responsible for:

The Position:

• Oversee the import, transport, distribution and warehousing teams of the company
• Upgrade the current supply strategy with regards to changing logistics and distribution chains
• Recruit and develop a first class team of logistics specialist
• Vendor management 
• Close cooperation with other stake holders in the business
• Cost optimisation and improvement in delivery times and stock turnover times
• Further digitalisation of the proccesses related to supply chain

The Candidate

As an expert in Logistics you have worked in all the critical functions of the supply chain. Ideally you have also gained experience in the challanges of a retail organisation with fast moving goods. You have proven experience of optimising and improving import and distribution chains. Considering the pecularities of doing business in Central Asia you have a flexibel approach and are a strong negotiator and motivator. People management skills are very important to succeed in this task.
