Our Client is a global leader in the Farming Industry, manufacturing Plastic products.
For their Plant in the Viotia area, they are looking for a ‘Maintenance Manager’, reporting to the Technical Director of Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Your Responsibilities:
- Organize and monitor the implementation of a preventative maintenance system to ensure the proper operation of the plant's electromechanical equipment and utilities in good condition.
- Manage the maintenance personnel.
- Improve and implement maintenance procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
- Ensuring root-cause of equipment issues are identified and effective solutions are implemented on time.
- Manage, maintain, and effectively utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of the equipment.
- Manage the purchase of spare parts and monitor the stock availability of sufficient spare parts.
- Take care of the appropriate training and development of the technical department staff.
- Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving engineering-related problems.
- Propose, monitor, and ensure continuous improvement projects and activities by coaching with a problem-solving approach and by following up on achievements and prioritizing tasks to benefit in the best way.
- Coordinate and authorize engineering staff hours and holidays to ensure the operational effectiveness of the department.
Your Profile:
- Strong academic background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing Engineers and Budgets.
- Expertise in maintenance management procedures and best practices.
- Mechanical, machine repair, electrical, and automation skills.
- Strong English skills.
