Our Client is an international company, a leading global producer of industrial minerals  and a worldwide distributor of specialty chemicals. This industry is fast growing and the local facility is in deep expansion. 

The job location is in west of Romania, non remote type.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR -  an ambititous engineer with great coordination skills.

Experience in leading a maintenance/repair team in an industrial facility of any kind is a major plus. However, a senior engineer who has not been in a management role yet is also a good potential Candidate. This Co will ensure coaching and development on the job!

Key requirements:

• University degree - technical profile;
• Experience in the industrial field: minimum 3 years (maintenance of equipment and machinery);
• Strong leadership native profile; some coordination experience is desirable;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Romanian;
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills;
• Good communication skills.

What you will be doing:

• Define and implement maintenance procedures and standards.
• Plan, prioritize, schedule, and manage maintenance activities and project to rectify break-downs and malfunctions and minimize business disruptions.
• Monitor the cost effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve timeliness, reliability, and safety standards.
• Plan equipment maintenance and monitor on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance team.
• Participate in the implementation and integration of general and specific safety procedures and instructions within all maintenance activities.
• Liaise with managers throughout the organization to coordinate scheduled maintenance activities with their operations.
• Monitor employee job performance such as attendance, quality, and productivity
• Coordinates a team of  20 people in this department.

This role requires relocation or weekly commuting from/to the facility and the Company will offer a good paid flat.
