Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Reporting To: Production General Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

• Serve as a coordinating resource for management, hourly and salaried personnel in the daily operation and functions of the maintenance process under the direction of the Plant Manager
• Manage, initiate, control and direct the activities of employees and equipment in their department.

RESPONSIBILITIES (IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

• Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility’s geographic location and:

• The Global Operating System Plays;
• ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management system standard;
• ISO 14001 Environmental Management system standard;
• IATF 16949 Technical Specification Management and Client’s Quality Basics system standards.
• TISAX Information Security Management System standard

• Support, Foster, Promote and Demonstrate Client’s’s Core Values and Leadership Behaviors.
• Maintain balance between customer, employee and financial satisfaction by maximizing facility/department Performance Indicators to align to Client’s Stepping Stool of Success Strategy.
• Allocate work as required within the department
• Ensure that manpower within the department is fully utilized
• Ensure appropriate parts supplies are available in order to properly maintain essential equipment.
• Ensure that required PM practices are in place
• Keep accurate and current records of all problems and remedies.
• Develop and maintain strong employee motivation and morale.
• Obtain help and guidance for employees with major problems.
• Supervisory responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training new employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving concerns

ACADEMIC / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Industrial Millwright apprenticeship papers or certificate of Engineering Technology or minimum 5 years related experience

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• 4.1 Ability to meet, realize and support customers’ product requirements, implement the knowledge of operation system and specific requirement.
• Maintenance certificate is must
• Good English communication in written and spoken

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work in a well-ventilated, open concept office environment with adequate lighting and temperature.
• Standard office equipment will be used such as computers, photocopiers, fax, phone, etc.

• Strong support LPS when required
• Maintenance Supervisor day to day work

• Schedule work for maintenance personal per work order and preventive maintenance list
• Sign Off work order and preventive maintenance done
• Create oil/coolant control system
• Spare parts control system
