LAURENT-PERRIER (UK) LTD – JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE Management Accountant
REPORTS TO Laurent-Perrier UK’s Finance Manager
LOCATION Marlow, Buckinghamshire (currently operating a hybrid working model – 3 office days and 2 work from home days per week)
REMUNERATION Circa £45,000 per annum subject to experience, 10% on target bonus, Employer pension contribution 15% of salary, private health insurance, life assurance, champagne allowance
JOB PURPOSE:
Working as part of the team to process and analyse financial information to enhance business performance.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with the accounting time-table ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled each month
- Prepare all supporting information for half year and annual audit.
- Preparation of group reporting
- Review invoice posting and make sure no duplication of purchase invoices/expenses claim
- Review staff expenses and make sure all expense claims are based on company policy/HMRC and ensuring spending is kept in line with the budget
- Payment Processing and post transactions to journals ledgers and other records
- Accounts payable management and reconciliations, Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Price Supports/Retro Processing and reconciliations
- Line management of Credit Controller
- Given the small size of our teams, providing cover for colleagues when absent
- Assisting finance manager and support ad hoc reports and general analyses as requested by the Finance Manager
- Deliver on HMRC reporting such as VAT reports, Corporation Tax return, P11D.
- Analysing company cost/benefit on an ongoing basis, Improve efficiencies and reduce company costs. Preparing comparative information for management and suggesting ways to decrease expenditure.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Update all forms based on HMRC Guidelines and company policy
- Involvement in project works relating to process improvements and system implementation
- Any other task that is reasonably requested by the business.

- Familiarity with handling confidential information
Qualifications:
- Qualified (CIMA or ACCA) Accountant
- Comfortable in analysing and reconciling large volumes of data
- Experience in the creation of reports for management at all levels.
