Role Summary:

The Costing Manager will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, rate analysis, and pricing strategies for tenders and projects. The role ensures competitive, data-driven pricing and supports profitability through effective cost control and analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Graduate / B.E. Civil / MBA Finance / ICWA
• Experience: 5–8 Years
• Industry: EPC / Infrastructure / Construction

Key Responsibilities:

Costing Responsibilities:

• BOQ & Quantity Analysis:
  Analyse BOQ and drawings; verify quantities and break down items for costing.
• Rate Analysis:
  Prepare detailed rate analysis including material, labour, equipment, and subcontracting costs.
• Market Intelligence:
  Collect vendor quotations, track market rates, and maintain cost database.
• Productivity & Resource Planning:
  Define productivity norms and plan resource allocation aligned with execution feasibility.
• Sensitivity Analysis:
  Analyse impact of price and productivity variations; support pricing decisions.
• Pricing Support:
  Assist in tender pricing, margin analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
• Cost Database Management:
  Maintain updated historical cost data for future reference and decision-making.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Evaluate vendor quotations and recommend cost-effective options
• Support finalization of rates during tendering
• Prepare costing reports and highlight risks or deviations

Authorities:

• Prepare and validate cost estimates and rate analysis
• Support pricing decisions with data-driven insights
• Maintain costing database with accuracy and confidentiality
