Our client company is a leading manufacturer and exporter of coded pressure vessels, skids, vacuum equipments and similar products.

Position Overview:-

Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of various projects within our organization. This role entails leading a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, optimizing designs for performance and cost-effectiveness, and collaborating closely with other departments such as manufacturing and quality assurance.

Job responsibilities:-

• Provide leadership and direction to a team of design engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design process from concept to final production, ensuring designs meet project requirements, customer specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, PED) 
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of design specifications into the production process.
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of all design activities, including engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and test reports, in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Engage with customers to understand their specific requirements and preferences, provide technical support and guidance during the design phase, and address any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.

Required candidate Profile:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or relevant engineering. Master’s degree would be a plus.
• Required 10-15 years of experience in design domain.
• Should have complete knowledge of static equipment design expertise for Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, columns, rotating equipment.
• In depth knowledge in ASME, PED, DOSH, API is a must.
• Should have expertise of working on design software like Autocad, PV Elite etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
