Responsibility :
The person will be completely responsible for the overall Management of Tax (Direct and Indirect including Transfer Pricing, Corporate Tax, Goods and Service Tax, Customs) and HQ Controlling
Direct Tax
• Responsible for all Corporate Tax and Transfer pricing compliances for all India legal entities and flip side companies.
• Responsible for tax relevant activities in Statutory Audits/Monthly closing/ Group audit/ Internal audit etc.
• Documentation for evolving tax strategy by considering various tax exemptions, tax havens, DTAA and use of right corporate structure.
• Responsible for preparation of profitability and advance tax payments
• Support/Guidance to cross function teams/business teams in relation to taxes & transfer pricing
• Handling of initial level assessments independently with the Tax Officer
• Review and finalization of transfer pricing documentation prepared by consultants
• Responsible to close APA /AAR proposals followed by compliance for roll back years and regular assessments.
Indirect Tax
• Ensure Monthly GST Compliances for All India GSTINs i.e. GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, ITC reconciliations with GSTR 2A/2B, Annual Returns GSTR 9 and 9C
• Review GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR2A and ITC reconciliations
• Preparation of working papers/submissions for Refunds/Assessments/ Appeals/etc
• Represent before the GST and Customs authorities.
• Good knowledge of Customs rules and regulations
• Knowledge of EPCG, Advance Authorisation, RoDTEP, and other Export incentives
• Ensure timely submission of GST refund claims on Export of Goods and services HQ Controlling
▪ Responsible to handle controlling activities of Shared Services Business support functions
▪ Responsible to prepare yearly Budget, Strategic plan, ensure accuracy of Monthly forecasts
▪ Prepare CAPEX Budget and ensure Actual spends within the CAPEX budget
▪ Monthly HQ closing activities as per close calendar Technical Skills
• Knowledge of FEMA, Direct Taxation, Laws and procedures for amalgamation/mergers, demergers and acquisition.
• Knowledge of worldwide tax planning including inter country regulations.
• Knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulations and reassessments.
• Knowledge of GST, Customs rules and regulations
• Knowledge of Assessment proceedings and scrutiny matters and best practices in Industry.
