Minimum Qualifications/education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or a related field
• Master’s degree in the same field is preferred
• Certifications from major cloud providers are required (Azure Data Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Data Engineer, etc.).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect

Minimum Experience

• 6+ years of experience in IT and related field  
• 5+ years’ experience in data solutions related to cloud/DevOps/FinOps technologies
• Preferably 2+ years in the retail/e-Commerce business or closely related industry

Skills

• Knowledge of data platforms on Cloud and On-premises including but not limited to SQL, Databricks, Synapse, etc
• Strong sense of ownership and integrity
• Strong experience in driving DevOps excellence
• Ability to deliver results on time with high quality
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Hands-on experience with designing, building, and managing release systems and CI/CD workflows and tools
• Experience establishing, implementing, and delivering using Agile practices
• Knowledge of IP networking, CDNs, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall
• Hands-on experience in managing cloud hosted infrastructure: Azure and GCP 
• Experience in Docker Containers, build and deployment in a container environment.
• Hands-on experience in Kubernetes
• Hands on experience on Shell scripting and Linux administration
• Experience with monitoring, log aggregating frameworks and APM tools
• Experience with development and automated testing
• Good understanding of microservices and distributed application architecture
• Good knowledge with SQL, NoSQL, database administration
• Experience with design for scalability, performance, and reliability
• Experience with running, monitoring, and troubleshooting micro-services
• Understanding of key networking concepts such as different protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, etc), OSI model, DNS
• Experience running and maintaining 24x7 production environments
• Good understanding of Office 365 services in a hybrid environment

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical skills, leadership, and design thinking skills
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with experience working in highly collaborative teams
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Strong English language skills (Speaking, Reading and Writing) with exceptional business writing, Arabic is a plus
