Job Purpose

• Responsible for overall operations of Purchase and Stores department.
• Cost-effective/timely Procurement of Direct and In-Direct Material,
• Accessories, consumables, packaging, Utility Material, Spares, Hardware, Capital, freight, and other services/contracts related to manufacturing / AMCs, Contract Management.
• Overview smooth functioning of Plant stores
• Ensure periodic perpetual inventory. Meet commercial and statutory Audit compliance.
• Complete Annual material reconciliations. Monthly MIS, reports to The Management on Inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Development & Management
• Design, plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies
• Plant Stores, Procurement, and supply chain activities.
• Developing the goals for the department for a subsequent year driving out of annual senior management team meetings for the organization based on sales/marketing and growth Plan.
• Reviewing & improving procurement / Materials Management policies/SOPs/procedures for a sound and ethical execution.
• Ensuring annual material Planning, budget preparation, Material Price, and spending Analysis.
• Analyse Spend trend. Forecast and plan to decide cost savings and Inventory optimization targets.

Reports to: EVP - Engineering.

Compensation: Competitive, and negotiable based on experience

Mandatory Qualifications/ Skills

• 10- 12 years of working experience in Purchase and Stores Department.
• B.E /B.Tech Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Skills/ Qualifications

• Supply Chain & Material Management will be an advantage.
• Experience in Pharma Equipment's /Machinery/Pressure Equipment.

Job Requirements

• Full-time position based out of Thane, Maharashtra.
• Procurement of all the project items for Pharma machinery & Granulation lines.
• Ability to use ERP software. Negotiation skill
