KRAs
Market Research
Research the market, customers, competitors and brands to understand trends
2. Review the product portfolio and analyse/identify potential opportunities and buying patterns
3. Analyse and compare similar competitor product pricing
Product Selection & Sourcing
1. Manage the product selection, sourcing and negotiations process
2. Onboard new products/brands and take end to end ownership
3. Make decisions regarding sourcing vs. producing the product
4. Identify vendors/partners for sourcing of new materials/products
5. Negotiate pricing Product
Design & Development
1. Discuss designs for development with customers, internal team as well as partners on a need be basis
2. Liaise with vendors for artwork, product specifications, engineering, and sample approval 3. Collect feedback from internal team and customers and create an action plan
Engineering Efficiency
1. Test materials, equipment, processes, and products to meet quality specifications
2. Take responsibility by conducting timely inspection as well as report submission
3. Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied
4. Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analysing quality data
Others
1. Prepare an annual plan and budget for “Product” function
2. Analyse and deliver periodic reporting to the management 3. Any other role or business activity that may be required by the management from time to time
