Position Manager – Sales & Business Analysis
Summarized Accountability: To be responsible for providing high level of Sales analysis, Market Trends, Forecasting, Presentation, microeconomic analysis, Competition Analysis
and customer sales realization – Primary & Secondary
Reports To: General Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Mumbai Office
Key Responsibilities:
o Preparation and Analysis of actual performance with budgets on Monthly, weekly and daily basis and with reasons for variance.
o Identifying trends in sales performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
o Preparation of region, city, customer wise Sales Volume and Realization budget with the help of Regional Sales Manager & Sales head.
o To provide Sales realization insights by analyzing claims, discounts etc at distributor, city, zonal & All India level.
o To be able to understand FMCG Primary & Secondary Business Model and prepare primary-secondary analytical trends for decision making.
o Should be able to bring different statistical tools on the table for in-depth customer insights. Example: RFM, CLV etc.
o Analysis of monthly region, city, customer wise actual realization in line with Budget & periodically Price increase.
o Designing Power point solutions & Excel Dashboards for Sales review.
o Should be able to drive tracking of performance of SKUs- Volume & Revenue
Realization.
o Should be able to forecast trends and do market research.
o Should be able to prepare ad hoc management analysis reports.
o Should have capability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in most effective & efficient manner.
o Should be able to publish monthly dashboards, variance analysis, Output analysis.
o Should be able to read macro and other excel reports and interpret it in a userfriendly language.
o Should be able to do a competition analysis with a proper market outlook.
o Command on IT tools like BI (Business Intelligence-Tableau, Power BI), & HP (Hyperion Planning).
o To coordinate with all Regional Heads for MIS Reports.
o To collate and ensure timely delivery of reports.
o Should have fluent English and a good hold on English language as the candidate must give power point presentation and will have to give remarks on causes of sales trend in various reports.
Experience & Education
• PG Finance/Economics/MBA in Finance from B School Preferred.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in an analyst profile.
• Excellent Command over English – Commentary writing and presentation.
• Expert in Power Point Presentation and Analysis.
• Proficient with MS Office (V lookup, H lookup, Pivot Table, can read Macro).
Functional Requirements:
• Strong communication, interpersonal and public relations skills to enable professional interaction with a range of people including Senior Management and other staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and an understanding of commercial in confidence practices.
